Invalid User ID and password on all connecting apps

HI

 

This is such a noob question lol but please believe me I think this is an issue and not me.

 

So the server is running fine on my PC. I can play files in it on my PC only.

But on my ipad / phone / Fire stick etc they all see the server but when I click on it and enter the password it says Invalid ID and password.

So I reset it go to my roaming emby server txt file and try again and again and again.

 

Is this me or am I meant to be putting in some other user id that has not been mentioned?

How are you connecting to your server? If you are using emby connect, then you need your emby connect credentials. If you are manually connecting to your server (using ip address or dns) then you need to enter your local username/pass set on your server (go to emby dashboard > users).
