MadibaJ 20 Posted March 23, 2016 Share Posted March 23, 2016 Is there a plan to add power saving features to ET? For example I would like the option if ET is idle for 15 Minutes then it will exit. My tvserver then manages the standby as it needs to wake for recordings. ET will then need to restart on resume so when turn the to on and the htpc wakes ET is there to use. I think the people like myself who use live tv and record need the tv server to handle the standby, otherwise the recordings won't occur (unless ET knows a way around this ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This shouldn't affect the server unless they are on the same PC. Even then, your recorder should automatically wake the machine as needed separate from the Emby Theater client.
