Change item opacity according to frequency of access

Is it viable to change the opacity of items in the library to give an indication of how often the item is accessed and/or watched?

 

ie: something I watched last week (which maybe already included in the 'latest episodes' list) appears in my library as 100% opacity compared to that awful episode of American Idol I watched 6 months ago and haven't touched since appearing at 50% opacity.

 

If this could work, a future follow up plugin could use that 'list' of dimmed items to flag them as 'Pending Deletion/Removal'... This wouldn't be for me, of course, because I am terrible hoarder, but for those who are limited to a 200Gb Hard Drive, are only watching recently released items and wish to regain space for new stuff, allowing the plugin to manage and delete these items might just work for them.
