rcarteraz 12
So, I having a problem playing media (on any device it seems) but it only seems to affect media that's on one drive. I have 3 drives pooled together with Drive Bender and anything that's not on the particular drive in question works fine but everything on this drive doesn't. I've run diagnostics on the drive and everything checks out. Also, if I play the file directly with VLC it works no problem. Not sure what's going on and would love some help. I've attached the latest server log. serverlog.txt transcodelog1.txt transcodelog2.txt Edited March 17, 2016 by rcarteraz

rcarteraz 12
Try disabling quick sync. Still the same issue. Played a video I know is on one hard drive and another video I know is on the other. Log 3 is the one that worked and log 4 is the one that failed. serverlog2.txt transcodelog3.txt transcodelog4.txt
rcarteraz 12
Nevermind, I'm pretty sure the drive is either dead or about to died despite what the drive diagnostics say. It's now not showing up in my system which is just great. Almost, 5tb of data could be gone. It just couldn't wait another 2 months until I had my server built... Ugh.. Thanks for the time though Luke.
Luke 37248
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you're able to salvage some of it.
rcarteraz 12
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you're able to salvage some of it. Thanks, it looks like I may be able to. Not doing anything though until I get 2 new drives. One for redundancy until I am able to setup a proper file server.
