Android app is only in WLAN working

Hello!

 

I tried to access the data from emby with my Xperia Z2 (Android 5.1.1). I can access the data only when I'm connected with my home WLAN, not with the mobile data

Same problem is when I'm trying to connect with the emby connect. Is there a way to connect the movies outside of my home WLAN?

I have never done this before jamvids. I didn't changed anything in the Router Settings

Hi all!

 

I tried today to connect to the emby connect from my pc in the office. I was able to login in and can see the server, but after that i can't continue, same message as on the xperia. I created the port in the windows firewall and tried to setup the port forwarding. What ip adress do i need for the port forwarding (https://www.dropbox.com/s/7elt9pi04w6zn5m/router.PNG?dl=0)? The external adress is also not working (https://www.dropbox.com/s/it01n9z5pug0qxd/Screenshot_2016-03-17-17-23-11.png?dl=0). Is it nessarry that the server (Notebook) is always running or is to possible to share my movie collection with others when the server is not running? Hope you can help me

Hi, welcome. Emby Server needs to be running because we don't save any information about your media library in the cloud. I would take a look at our Connectivity Troubleshooter. Please try the steps listed there and let us know at what point you get stuck. Thanks.

What means then Cloud Sync? If the server has always to run this is the wrong program for me
