MeadiaPortal 2 has a new Game Emulator that allows playing games with just a click like a movie. The great thing is, that no external emulators need to be configured. Everything is integrated in MP2. http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/0-4-with-libretro-support-emulators.132573/page-5 But MP2 works only with windows, so I wonder if there is something comparable, that is free of charge and integrated.
