oyvindo 1 Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 I'm trying to install Emby_3.0.5882.0_x86 on a QNAP server. Everything is brand new and all updates and patches have been applied. No other Apps except 'QMono' are installed. When I specify the media path and click OK, Emby complains that Emby System User has no Access. The path is /share/Multimedia/Music and has not been typed manually so there are no typos. I can see that all the album folder are there during the process of navigating the path, so it is definitely the right path. Access rights to this path is R/W for user admin and R for group everyone. I do not have an Emby system user and I do not know how to create one. (I know how to create a regular user, but not a system user). How do I solve this problem?
