AZRichG 10 Posted March 2, 2016 Share Posted March 2, 2016 The title says it all really. I'm using an iPad pro with the latest iOS and Emby App. I believe the PiP used to work fine. Now when I switch to News app or Safari Emby stops playing. If I hit play in the window I can hear the the file but no video is displayed. On the AppleTV I can start AirPlay but when I switch to another app on the iPad the streaming stops. Not sure how this worked in the past but I believe it kept playing. This happens when playing recordings or watching a live cable channel from my HDHR Prime. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Luke 37067 Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 Hmm, yea I think this is due to the protection that was added to make sure server transcoding gets shut off. A lot of other people like to just stop video playback by leaving the app without actually clicking stop. I guess we will need different behavior for iphone and ipad.
