I had an update recently and I noticed it errored out. I rebooted hoping it would fix the issue but noticed in emby theater I had no video but had sound and in the web app I had video and no sound. I was able to resolve the theater issue by removing the comobjects folder and relaunched theater and it reinstalled correctly. Now I have video and sound in theater but not sure how to fix the web app issue. Any suggestions? Thank in advance. I am running 3.0.5891.0 that recently updated.

I am attaching the log files from attempting to play two movies this morning from the web interface.  One showed transcoding logs (Alvin and the Chipmunks), the other did not (Avengers).  All logs from today are attached.  As stated previously, when playing from the web interface, there is no sound, only video.  When playing from Theater, I now have both sound and video, but I didn't previously due to not all the Comobjects being updated.  After I deleted the Comobjects folder under the Theater the directory and relaunched Theater, they reinstalled and now I have sound and video in Theater, but the web interface still doesn't work.  After I attempted via the web interface on the media server, I tested streaming via the web app from another device and the iOS app and both provided sound and vide.  Its just playing on my media center with the Emby server app that does not produce sound.  I have verified that the volume is up and not muted, as it works fine with the Theater application.  Please let me know if I can provide any other information.  Thank you in advance for your time.

I tried Firefox, same results, and I tried IE and Edge, both of those said there was an error playing this video file and never played anything.  Attached are the logs from these attempts.  I also upgraded to the latest beta server version to see if it made a difference, before and after trying these and the results were the same.  I am now running version 3.0.5892.0

i tested and i got volume. it's a little low but it works. i would suggest making sure the browser isn't muted and/or checking the volume assigned to the browser application in the windows volume panel.

I have cranked the volume all the way up, and I can verify in the tab that it says that volume should be playing in the browser.  I also confirmed in the volume mixer that both firefox and chrome are not muted and turned all the way up.  We use this system almost daily and it worked fine last week.  Nothing else but Emby runs on this system, so nothing but the application has changed.

I ended up manually checking for all driver updates for the system.  Although some were only updated in October 2015, there were other updates, including the sound card.  I did an update, rebooted and magically now have sound again with Chrome and Firefox.  Damn Windows!  :)  Thanks for all the help!
