I'm planning on moving my entire music library over to FLAC soon, unfortunately all my mobile devices run iOS which has no native support for FLAC.

 

I'd really like to see in Emby support for syncing and then converting to another format into a specified folder or network share.

Sorry my bad - I didn't see that.

 

Quick couple of questions if I may, as I haven't yet purchased premier membership...

 

1. Does this convert music?
2. Does embedded metadata get copied across to the converted files?
3. When syncing to a folder, can you make it create a directory structure i.e. /NewLocation/Artist/Album/Track Name.Extension ?

Hi, welcome. yes, it converts music. for embedded metadata, can you give examples of what you're looking for? it does sync subtitles.

 

For #3, you can't customize the structure but it is in a human readable format, e.g. artist/album/song, /series/episode, etc.

Thanks I'm not really concerned about video, but with music does it embed id3 tags for example?
