MSattler 388
I know the Live TV is still experimental, however it works great for me with one exception: When I stop playback of LiveTV, it does not kill the ffmpeg process that is created to transcode the playback. If I stop and start multiple times, those ffmpeg processes keep running. thanks!
Angelblue05 4130
Hmmm. If it's transcoding, it should automatically delete the process after playback stops. Do you mind posting your Kodi log so I can see why it's not working? I do not have Live TV, thanks Edit: Never mind, I think I found the issue. For some reason it was being marked as Direct Play, but it's really transcoding. The fix is in beta 2.1.3 Edited February 14, 2016 by Angelblue05

MSattler 388
Hmm still not working with 2.1.3. http://xbmclogs.com/pt4limxmx Thanks! PS. Sometimes, say I stop playback, reboot, play that channel again no ffmpeg process is picked up and it plays previously recorded live tv. Is it possible that the transcoding cache is not being cleared fast enough and so it plays that back?
Angelblue05 4130
Weird, because according to your log, the transcode was ended correctly. Do you have the server log from that time?

Very weird, but the server log shows this: FFMpeg exited with code -1 Perhaps it has something to do with that? Below is a snippet of the log, if it's not enough I can go ahead and restart the server later and run another test. Angelblue05 4130
I do not have live tv so this is difficult for me to help with. I don't have any idea how it works. It is marcel's experimental feature, so hopefully he can jump in on this conversation to help out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
