vmcosco 19 Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Was browsing the wiki on Github and noticed the following comment on direct streaming music: "Direct stream the music library: Enable this setting only if you plan to listen to music outside the server's network." Angelblue05 4130 Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) Kodi doesn't have same flexibility with their music library as they do with their video library. It will not accept plugin paths, so we can't control the playback of music (we can't go from direct play to direct stream). What the setting does is insert http paths/mp3 streams into your database during the sync, so you can listen to it remotely. Otherwise, it inserts direct paths to your music.
