pgh1949 2
I've just installed Emby server on a QNAP TS215+ and I can access my music library without any problems, both via the web interface and on an iPhone remotely. However I can't get my photos to display. When I navigate to the photos library I can see the folders but no thumbnails. If I try to access a jpg within a folder all I get is a black screen on the web interface or a"hung" blank screen with a rotating indicator on the iPhone. I assume it's something I've done wrong but I can't see what so I'm appealing for help. Sorry if this has come up before but I couldn't find it. Luke 37125
Hi, welcome. Can you please grab the server log from the timeframe of attempting to browse photos? http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks. pgh1949 2
I've just gone in to do as you ask and I notice that some of the photos are now appearing. I'm guessing it takes a long time to prepare the media library so I'll leave it overnight and try again in the morning. If I'm still having problems I'll get the server log. pgh1949 2
OK, next morning and I've checked and the situation is the same as last night, no more images have appeared. I've attached the system log file and you can see screenshots of what I'm seeing at the following links (hopefully!) https://www.dropbox.com/s/ex8j0x830sohog5/Screenshot%202016-02-05%2008.40.09.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/on2k0i9gkikw15n/Screenshot%202016-02-05%2008.40.58.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5f33x19jy1obkl/Screenshot%202016-02-05%2008.41.40.png?dl=0 Log.txt
Luke 37125
Since you're on an old version of the server, can you update to the latest first and then report back? If the newer version hasn't reached the qnap catalog yet, you can get it here in the meantime: http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?t=109476
pgh1949 2
Thanks for the suggestion Luke but I need the x64 version as I'm on a TS-251+ I've tried a couple of the x86 versions but they don't work. Is there a previous version I could try somewhere? Update: I've got it installed so I'll run with it for a while and report back.
