Deathsquirrel 741
Are any of you using a newer NUC with the 520/Iris graphics engine with ET or similar playback tools using MadVR? How's the performance?
James 31
Are any of you using a newer NUC with the 520/Iris graphics engine with ET or similar playback tools using MadVR? How's the performance? Dont have a nuc but I have no issues with the integrated hd 530 on my htpc. Also worked fine with surface pro 4 i5 with hd 520 and SP4 i7 with hd 540 iris. tested basic madvr setup v0.89 & v0.
AdrianW 1053
I would expect it to be excellent. I have a two year old NUC with HD5000 graphics and I use MPC-HC with MadVR with no issues. I've also tested ET with MadVR and playback is outstanding.
Deathsquirrel 741
Thanks, looking at a nuc for a possible playback device. Excellent news.
AdrianW 1053
Thanks, looking at a nuc for a possible playback device. Excellent news. A NUC is great for playback. I have Emby Server, WMC + EMC and ET all installed on mine with Win 8.1. I'm using EMC with MPC-HC as an external player. I'll probably switch to ET once it gets more feature complete. Deathsquirrel 741
Thanks all. I ultimately didn't have to decide. Got one as a gift. Have to post about my results once it's arrived and set up.
