MBMigrating has stopped working

I don't see an error in that configurator log.  What happens when you run it?

Also, there should be a .net error in your Windows Event Log from when MBMigrate crashed.  MBMigrate doesn't do anything so that really isn't a big deal but we need to know what went wrong.

OK, Ive done a full reinstall but still getting same error - MBMigrate has stopped working - at the end of the install process. Then if I try to run the configurator, it just crashes. everything was fine yesterday - not sure what logs to post but i'll do my best. at my wits end with this. Please help.

Something is wrong with .net on your machine.  What OS?  Did you install any other applications since this was working?

You can try to re-install or repair .net through add remove programs/windows components.

is MBT a wpf/.net format because I just redownloaded that and it installed fine - Im just having trouble with MBC

Yes, but it is .net 4.5.  MBC/the configurator are .net 3.5 (because that is required for WMC).

I don't know what else to try other than a system restore back to before that .net update.

Ok just checked to see and I think 3.5 is installed but not 3.5 sp1 - is there a difference. I tried to install 3.5 sp1 but I get a setup error?

any ideas??

Yes, it needs to be sp1.  Try googling not being able to install it.  Something on your machine is messing it up.

.NET verification tool is verifying that 3.5 sp1 is installed. Ive used .net clean up tool and reinstalled all but still  getting the error as in previous post when I try to install MBC.

I am at a loss noe  Any other reasons that this is happening, Can I find out some other way what the problem might be??
