ProphetSe7en 15
Hi. I don`t have any 3D movies at the moment so I cant test to se if it works. Will Emby server detect 3D movies in mkv format or in iso format and give me a easy way to find 3D movies in library? Will Emby + Kodi play 3D just as easy as any other movies, or do I need to use something else than kodi? Iso and mkv.
Angelblue05 4130
Should be fine in Kodi. We import the stream details so it should be able to detect 3D automatically in Kodi, otherwise I believe it can manually be enabled once you start playback. I'm not sure however 3D is possible if you transcode. But direct play / direct stream should be no problem. denethor 90
In the mean time let me remind you a good old request: @@Luke @@Angelblue05 Possibility to choose which version to play in Kodi with the help of add-on If you have something like below you won't be able to control which version to play: \Movies \Movies\Avatar \Movies\Avatar\Avatar-1080p.mkv \Movies\Avatar\Avatar-3D.mkv Edited January 8, 2016 by denethor
blublub 10
3D works fine in without transcode even if you have a 4k FSBS movie (considering your HW can do it)
DruTheFu 9
Remember that you will have to add some text/string to the end of your file name for your media file. i.e. "title (year).mkv" would be "title (year).3d.hsbs.mkv" By doing that, Kodi will know that it's a 3D file, and depending on the skin you use, will display to the user in Kodi it's 3D. Some skins will even display a set of 3D glasses to notify you.
