virtualtinker 8 Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Current version I am running of Emby server: 3.0.5800.3 Current version of Emby app on Shield: 1.1.41g Bare with me on this one as I haven't done too much troubleshooting just yet and think it's more the TV rather than Emby, but I wanted to see first if this is just me or if anyone else has experienced this. My audio is dropping for maybe a second or so, then resuming while watching content. I've had it happen on numerous movies infrequently. The video never stops, the audio just drops and when it resumes, everything is still properly synced. I've only seen this happen when using the Emby app on my shield; no other app on the Shield has done this, nor have the built-in apps on the TV. For what it's worth, my TV is a Samsung JS8500 and I am currently using the built-in speakers on the TV until I can afford a decent soundbar. In the audio settings on the TV, it does Bitstream or PCM and I am pretty sure it's setup as bitstream. Here's the audio profile of one of the movies that exhibited the dropped audio. Language eng Codec AAC Profile LC Layout stereo Channels 2 ch Sample rate 48000 khz Default Yes Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
