kanonen 0
Hello, I'm a first time Emby user, long time XBMC/Kodi user having trouble setting up Emby. I've followed the tutorial pinned here on forum, but still having the "Emby server is unreachable" error What I've tried a few times: Clean install of Kodi (on CuBox i4) Portforward 8096 to 192.168.2.103 (CuBox IP) Install Emby 1.0.4 depository Install Emby system My system doesnt autodetect the local IP so i manually input 192.168.2.103 and nothing else - tried reboot - still doesnt connect. I can easily reach 192.168.2.103 via Kodi Webclient or from my laptop My setup: Emby 1.1.69 Kodi 15.2 Git:02e7013 Log file and screenshot of settings included 01_KODI.log

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thanks for the reply - but I just added http as a test, the original input was IP only - just tried again with just 192.168.2.103 - same error

Angelblue05 4130
Remove the http part as it's added by the add-on. Make sure your port 8096 is open in your server's firewall.

xnappo 1593
Hmm - from the CuBox can you go to this address in a web browser and see your user names? http://192.168.2.103:8096/emby/Users/Public xnappo

kanonen 0
Try this? http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=90007 Allright tried in Web viewer now, getting "Connection refused" Must be a port forwarding issue you think? Others services that need portforwarding on my network works fine
xnappo 1593
This is on your local network? It is definitely configured wrong. If you are on your local network, you don't need anything forwarded. If your server is on a different network than the CuBox, you would forward 8096 to the server. The way you have it now, it is trying to go to the CuBox instead of the server! xnappo
