Rainey 2
I have the latest server Version 3.0.5781.8 running on a win8.1 server. I see cover art for every movie in the web interface using a browser on the local server or Emby for WMC on this local server. I have two clients running on Win7 HTPC's and Emby for WMC installed. Both clients have missing cover art. When checking the clients logs i see error copying the images from the server. I can not figuire out what is wrong. If i copy and paste the image http link that failed to copy from the server into a browser at the client it works just fine. Can anyone help explain the errors in this log or tell what else i can do like maybe get more detailed logs by setting debug at the server or the client? 2015-12-24 22:53:50.3809,Debug,,added list for SleaseMovies loaded with 20 items.,21,Worker thread for Common 2015-12-24 22:53:50.4009,Debug,,Fetching image: http://192.168.1.13:8096/mediabrowser/Items/a7e0b188f64281e1ad2461f1d090cac8/Images/Primary?maxWidth=350&Quality=90&tag=4ff9de454b8d4f126b36ca003e41d27f,31,Net Image loader-Worker 2015-12-24 22:53:50.4209,Debug,,Fetching image: http://192.168.1.13:8096/mediabrowser/Items/d5011811dc9bca1462f1b19f87998718/Images/Primary?maxWidth=350&Quality=90&tag=240647958baa292c768b364f5d35dd74,32,Net Image loader-Worker 2015-12-24 22:53:50.4609,Debug,,Fetching image: http://192.168.1.13:8096/mediabrowser/Items/cec3c0685bcb11237e774b457f82bdc2/Images/Primary?maxWidth=350&Quality=90&tag=99f736ca64ac0ad628c3abbdcf364842,31,Net Image loader-Worker 2015-12-24 22:53:50.7509,Debug,,Fetching image: http://192.168.1.13:8096/mediabrowser/Items/95812c544125fef7d78d346d1cf5596c/Images/Primary?maxWidth=350&Quality=90&tag=167b4b2815c0431925825ffc240c2b0e,31,Net Image loader-Worker 2015-12-24 22:53:50.7609,Error,,Error saving cache image C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser-Classic\ImageCache\2\328d1e831264c3d9d0b8bffceaf25e0b ( Exception. If i try and do a Control-R on the movie the default cover art is gone like in the second screen shot. If i manually copy the file(s) from the cache on the server to the clients cache then it works. I hated to have to copy the whole cache to the clients after adding movies. I would really like to find out why Emby for WMC if failing to copy all of the cache coverart from the server to the clients. thanks for any help Edited December 27, 2015 by Rainey

Rainey 2
Not the drive, it is a 3TB drive with less then 25% used. If i copy the cache manually from the server drive to the client drive all cover art then works on the clients. But of course that is a few 100 thousand files and takes some time and i hate to have to do it that way. I would like to figuire out why the process is having exceptions. Is there any way to get more info on this error, like change the debug level to get more info that might help. ( Exception. Rainey 2
Ok, i got some of them working, by re downloading new coverart at the server web interface. So it seems some of my cover art has something in the file that Emby don't like. Funny how it works on the server in both the web interface and Emby for MC, but not over the network copy to EMC. Any ways it looks like i have a lot of work to clean this up.
Rainey 2
Ok i found out what was wrong with the files. It seems if the file has EXIF info, in my case (Date/Time see attached) in them then the file will fail to display in EMC as it will fail to copy from the server to the client. If i open the file in a jpg viewer and remove all jpeg metadata then the file works in EMC.
