blublub 10
Hi I have a Control4 systems that is able to read the Kodi database and presents its content on its own GUI. This works fine for PVR, recordings and music (for those I do not use Emby) However it somehow cannot read the movies and TV shows database which are populated via the Emby plugin so I assume that Emby makes some changes to the database layout which lets the import to my home automation system fail. Anyone knows what emby changes in the kodi database? thx for any help Edited December 25, 2015 by blublub
Angelblue05 4130
The addon two playback modes: addon and native (direct paths). The only difference between the two is the path we insert into the database to playback the content. You could try using native mode, then reset your library to test it out with the app. It should behave as if you were using only Kodi. blublub 10
OK I set it to native but the list still won't populate, damn it :-(
Angelblue05 4130
Does it need sources to be defined to work?
blublub 10
No, in the config I only set up: IP MAC address for WOL Kodi web server port, user and pwd It pulls the movies and cover art over the web server - which works fine, it just wont import into Control4
