runtimesandbox 153 Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 If I use the Direct Stream option in the Kodi plugin, does this mean that the nfs path to the video store is stored in the database rather than pointing to the emby server? Is it true that If i do this, it would load faster on a raspberry pi but I won't be able to use Cinema mode etc? If I use NFS path substitution would this be the best of both? Basically all Kodi addons are written in Python which is a slow language. The pi and other low power devices take longer to start playback when forced to through the Emby addon.
