Live TV - Spin up recording path location prior to scheduled recording

So a little back story to help better illustrate my ask.  I recently switched over to use the Live TV that is built into Emby when utilizing HD Homerun.  I ran into issues where more often than not, my scheduled recordings were not happening properly as I was only getting a few KB.  I ultimately narrowed down the problem to having something to do with the drive being asleep when the recording stops (something I didn't have problems with back when I was using SWMC).  When I changed my power profile inside of Windows so that my drives never spin down, I haven't had a problem since with my scheduled recordings happening as intended.  What I'd like to see is maybe have the recording path spin up a couple minutes prior to a scheduled recording or maybe even a check box that keeps the recording path up and running.  That way, the remainder of my drives that house my media can spin down to minimize wear on them, but not impact my scheduled recordings on the drive I use for my recordings.
