gps1539 0
Hi, I'm running emby on an arm server and playback is awesome on samsungtv and on android. I would love to also be able to watch on my Linux PC without transcoding as the arm server can not handle the workload. Are there any ways to use VLC or MPV directly with emby or to enable a browser to use them instead of transcoding?
Luke 37262
Hi, welcome. unfortunately browsers can't launch programs. On android we do have a vlc option that the web client can use but that's about it.
