legrosmoi 4
Hello all, Everywhere on the forum I read that anything in square brackets gets ignored... However, the following file 14 Blades [Jin yi wei] (2010).mkv end up in the database with the name 14 Blades [Jin yi wei (no square bracket at the end) and searching metadata on the internet fails accordingly. The year is parsed properly... Are the square brackets supposed to be ignored? Thanks, Jocelyn
Luke 37289
Not exactly. In most cases yes. A long time ago we used to ignore everything in brackets. Now we use kodi naming standards and generally the end result is the same with content in brackets being ignored, but this isn't always the case. I would use the identify feature to correct it.
