dsig 2
I am still looking in the wiki for answers .. When I add a new Movie dir to one of my media drives, does Emby automatically see it (continuously watching dirs) or do I have to scan the specific directory (which always looks empty) ... or scan the whole drive? The same is true for tv episodes. When I add 6-10 different series/eps to i have to visit each or ?? Thanks DSig
Solution ebr 14959 Posted December 14, 2015 Solution Share Posted December 14, 2015 It depends. On Windows, yes as long as you haven't disabled that feature (Library/Advanced/Enable Real-time Monitoring). On some other operating systems, though, monitoring is not possible so it will get picked up by the next library scan.

I just migrated to Ubuntu, and real-time Monitoring doesn't seem to be working.
