I usually get no response when hitting play, then sometimes an error mentioning to check log. fantaxp7 190 Posted November 24, 2015 Author Share Posted November 24, 2015 Kodi is located on a different device. SMB works as I can access my files on my windows laptop. I believe NFS is enabled on unraid as well. Another thing is I can play files on my amazon firetv fine, but I suppose that is accessing a different way? Angelblue05 4130 Posted November 24, 2015 Share Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) If you use smb, your paths need to look like: \\{computer}\{share}\ I'm not sure about nfs, you'd have to search the forums for examples. edit: Kodi needs your path to be formatted a certain way to be able to access them. Honestly, you'd find your answer just searching the forums, it's been brought up so many times. It's just because the paths currently are I think, local unix paths? Basically the way docker accesses the files on my unraid server is different that how I am able to access my files on other machines.
