Android TV/Fire TV - Gamebrowser support?

I was just thinking, since the Android TV (Shield) and Fire TV have support for controllers and these boxes generally (at least in the Android's case, definitely not the Fire stick) might be powerful enough, that it might be a good option to make it a supportable front-end client for the Gamebrowser plug-in.  Just a thought, as I'd love to be able to play some of the older emulator games, but dedicated HTPCs just don't seem to be in the cards for me in the future and I believe this to be the case for many others as the streaming devices become more prevalent.
