There is a problem with the user preference Subtitles Testing a tv show episode with 3 external subtitles (srt) greek,german,italian Tried version 3.0.5781.0 On user preferences / Playback Settings Subtitle language preference: Greek, Modern Subtitles Mode : Always play subtitles When you try to play an episode it display german and greek subtitles at the same time on screen. Tried version 3.0.5781.2 Subtitle language preference: Greek, Modern Subtitles Mode : Always play subtitles When you try to play an episode it doesnt display any subtitles. If you try to change the subtitles example to german it doesnt show up. If you press first the none and then choose a subtitle then it will show up. Luke 37290 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I will have to test chrome but I can tell you there is a bug with firefox 42's text tracks implementation. and so far it's not fixed in firefox 43 beta. so you should use chrome for now. if it continues longer then we'll have to use a workaround, which you guys aren't going to like either because that's going to require transcoding.
