Schimi 26 Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 I use 4 Drives with Video, music, etc. in emby and if i do a "clean" rescan (deleted library.db all cache and meta files) with video analysis "on", then it need (of course) a long time to finish... so maybe it´s possible to check all the drives at the same time? I use Path Substitution and emby see the 4 different Drives (if someone use UNS Paths then i would prefer the "serial" scan)... with simultaneous scan on all drives it would be speed up the first scan (with activated video analysis and maybe chapter extraction) a lot... but on the other hand.... how often someone do an "clean" rescan? maybe no one would benefit.... but that's what a developer have to decide in case of work and benefit ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
