Nem 2
I use the emby for kodi plugin for my desktop clients and it works nicely. However, I also have a raspberry pi running kodi which is on 24/7. Does the emby for kodi plugin sync with the server automatically in the background? Or only when kodi started? If its the latter, when how does library sync work for devices that are on 24/7?
Angelblue05 4130
It syncs as long as Kodi is running. The process works on events. Basically, anything your server does will trigger a message sent to the add-on. The add-on processes the data and updates the library. There is no timer client side. Everything is synced in real time when Kodi runs. If nothing is going on server side, nothing will happen client side.
