Jasoon 9
First of all may i say that the new app is very very nice to use and very fast.... But after a very quick play im finding that some of my movies wont play, is get a circle on the screen for about a second then nothing happens... Is there anything i need to install alongside the emby app to allow it to play all formats?
fc7 123
Probably a server log will help to understand what's going on.http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/

Jasoon 9
also noticed on the server activity list the ones that didn't play aren't listed...
fc7 123
I just quickly checked the log and since you are running the server on Windows, I would ask if you are running an antivirus/firewall on it? I see a lot of errors regarding connections getting close by other application. Also did you try to play the same movies using the webclient for instance? Don't they ever fail? Jasoon 9
i do run webroot but its normally off... The firewall would be what ever windows comes with. I only normally play films through emby theater or roku, which plays them no problem, could the problem to do with it being set to play trailers befor the film?
