maronek 0
Ok, I am feeling really dense here... How do you actually use emby in kodi? I have the add-on installed, the only way I can see any of my media is by going to the add-on section in kodi and clicking on Mediabrowser. Then I can browse and launch my media. Is this what is suppose to happen? I was under the impression that Mediabrowser would be a back end and kodi would work as it did before.. clicking on a category (Movies or TV) and browsing the data from there. Thanks in advance G
Vidman 589
Sounds like you may have installed the old xbmb3c addon rather than the newer emby for kodi one

Cant believe it was that simple. I managed to install the old version - xbmb3c I uninstalled that in kodi downloaded the new plugin from github - emby.kodi entered my server settings and quit and relaunched kodi! PROFIT Thanks. im85288 1493
downloaded the new plugin from github - emby.kodi Why from github? It's available in both our stable and beta repo's and would then get automatically updated.
