Erik 120 Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 I opened up Emby to watch a movie and when I click on the hamburger icon that drops down my different media types (movies, tv shows...) they are all gone. Just shows: Home Remote ----------- ----------- Sync The media is in the media library section of the server, it's all online. It looks like the database has gone bad. Help! Solution Erik 120 Posted November 4, 2015 Author Solution Share Posted November 4, 2015 Thanks for the quick reply @@ebr I did a library scan, tried a clean database, tried a reinstall, tried removing the library.dat file for a rebuild. All unsuccessfull. However, i took a look through the logs and noticed a path problem to the metadata cache. Turns out the sata cable went bad on that ssd caching drive...New cable and its all back up and working. @@Luke is there any way on the server admin page that shows the paths, that they could have an indication of status for problems like this? like a green check mark is the path is reachable or a red X if its not? or a red notification that a path is not present. It could be very useful for identifying the fault for like: failed cables, hard drives, network shares.... Thanks, Erik 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
