PureTryOut 1
Although the Android app works fine, it of course would be preferable to have a native SailfishOS app. With the first Sailfish tablets being shipped, and mine arriving somewhere in the start of next year, it would be great to have this available. Are there any plans on making a native app?
Luke 37262
the app is a lot more native than you realize.
PureTryOut 1
What? Just because the Android version runs, doesn't mean it's native. It doesn't fit in the whole Sailfish interface at all.

ZenOfJazz 2
PureTryOut: You are confusing UI (User Interface) with native/interpreted/etc. Native code is code compiled for a specific architecture. Android and Sailfish are 2 different operating systems, that run on the same architecture. each has their own UI "Look and Feel". It is worth noting that because they are on the same architecture, and the OS weenies have long since given up on incompatible executable formats, instead relying on architecture based standards, that code for one OS can run on a different OS, assuming no calls to the underlying OS are used. So, if I understand Luke correctly, the android app will work on sailfish. However, translating the UI to use Sailfish look & feel mechanisms, is non-trivial. Be glad the program runs, hope sailfish is popular enough to garner enough interest for a UI port.
