Blue407 0
Morning All I'm new to using Emby as I previously used Media Browser 1.x in WMC. Recently built replacement WMC/Win 8.a PC for Lounge and installed latest Emby into WMC. I have a couple of issues:- 1. Struggling to get Live TV to appear even though ServerWMC is installed on another PC (On my PS3 I can see the Emby Live TV and channels but it gives what I assume is a protected content error, but it shows they are there!) 2. I use VLC player and every time I start a movie from Emby in WMC it loads VLC and then in the background WMC crashes due to Emby and bombs back to the WMC home screen. Not sure of this is related, but I seem to be missing tabs in my Emby configurator:- Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.
AdrianW 1053
Some config has been moved inside EMC - e.g. Plugins which accessible from the Config button.

ebr 14960
So you are saying its correct to only see these Tabs? Yes. That tool is only needed if you use external players or ISOs.
Blue407 0
Thanks Guys Any ideas on my player issue with VLC? The Emby configurator says I should use an old version of VLC, is this still the case or can I use latest 64-bit version?
ebr 14960
No testing has been done with newer versions of VLC so I'm not sure.
