eating up HDD space

i added 2 new video files in the past week,

i didnt change any emby server settings in past 3 months

 

C: had 40GB free until this week

 

this week C: keeps running out of space i keep deleting the server cache, 20GB

 

last night i deleted cache again and made settings in server have no images or metadata for people (i had it on for actors and director)

 

now cache is 8GB ... less than the 20GB yesterday

but the data folder grew from 20GB to 37GB ... wth is going on?

have you taken a look inside to see what's in there?

alot of space seems to be taken by thumb_key & primary_key image files for My Photos directory

but i havent added any photos in 6 months or more...

 

EDIT: weird, these C:\Users\Bulls\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\data\metadata\5e\5e975692cd1c1d944fc4d90358b3b147\thumb_key_0a23997fcb33483a86202ad7f06e2a8d.png

this file is 80MB and is blank !!!
 

EDIT: 700+ PNGs that are blank but take up 25-150MB !!! adding up to 20GB ...

 

 

in settings i removed the photos directory from the server library, but it didnt remove the image files... how does that get cleared up ?

 

but why is this happening

remove them, then reinstall from the website on top of your existing install. shouldn't happen again.
