jasonmcroy 315 Posted October 22, 2015 Share Posted October 22, 2015 I am thinking this is an SD issue to I am posting here. I have two channels that are not getting the Grid EPG data from SD. They are channel 1008 (NBC) and 1252 (Food Network). I have refreshed the guide several times, restarted the server, deleted the EPG grid data from the data folder on my local drive, refreshed the guide after that and still nothing is coming through. I looked at the .json files in the data folder itself and I can see that there is no .json file for those two channels but there is for the others. I just did a fresh install of the server and reinstalled everything. I started with the Stable server version but I saw the same issue except now there are additional channels that it is not pulling the guide data in for. I then updated the server to the Beta version 3.0.5768.5. I refreshed the guide data and I am getting the same results. From the logs that I sent you via PM (which you can paste here if you like, or send to @@Luke / @ebr), from the server side your client requested the schedules for 21222 and we sent 22 days of data for that stationID. I just disabled/cleared all the tuners, channels, cached json, restarted server, added back a tuner, tried a different zip with schedules direct, and still see the same exact channels missing ( Attaching my log file from this time around). I do have multiple tuners used for two different cities, and I'm missing some data from both lineups. I've disabled all tuners but one for diagnostics. All the channels were there a couple days back. The issue started when I went to remove one channel from the lineup. Once I removed it from the tuner and refreshed the SD info, the guide data for several station went away. Stations missing from this lineup: 21222, 43884, 62896 Note: I work weekends, so there may be delays in my responses. Thanks!! For example, you opened a ticket for channel 612, which is stationID 34428; you can see that we have data for 34428. Here are the channels I am missing guide data for in Emby: 1008 WFLAHD, 1016 WUSFH, 1242 HISTYHD, 1252 FOODHD. That is how they are listed on my guide. I see two xml files in my HDHR folder. One is titled CableCARD.xml and one is titled Digital Cable.xml. They both list the same channels but with different numbers. The matching channels to the ones I listed above are: (from the CableCARD.xml file) <Program> <Name>WFLAHD</Name> <GuideNumber>1008</GuideNumber> </Program> <Program> <Name>WUSFHD</Name> <GuideNumber>1016</GuideNumber> </Program> <Program> <Name>HISTYHD</Name> <GuideNumber>1242</GuideNumber> </Program> <Program> <Name>FOODHD</Name> <GuideNumber>1252</GuideNumber> </Program> In the Digital Cable.xml file they are listed as follows: <Program> <Name>WFLA NB</Name> <Frequency>567000000</Frequency> <ProgramNumber>2608</ProgramNumber> <GuideNumber>8.1</GuideNumber> </Program> <Program> <Name>WUSF PB</Name> <Frequency>693000000</Frequency> <ProgramNumber>2616</ProgramNumber> <GuideNumber>16.1</GuideNumber> </Program> NOTE: The 1242 (History channel) and 1252 (Food Channel) don't have a listing in the Digital Cable.xml file. I have no idea if any of this data is useful to you all, but that is what I found and seems like what Luke is steering toward. Let me know what else I can do or what you need from me. Do you have a HDHR connected to an antenna? Like @@Luke said, the algorithm being used by Emby to match stations to schedules depends on there being a match between what the HDHR / your provider calls a channel and what we call a channel. For this particular lineup, we don't have extended scan results (it's what we got from our upstream), which is why it doesn't have logical channel numbers or any of the other fields that get added once someone sends us their scan. BobbyDing 56 Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 I cannot help bu notice that jasonmcroy has issues with WFLA (21222) & WUSF (43884). Which are two of the same stations I'm having issues with. They show as WFLAHD & WUSFHD in the XML output of the tuner(s). Doesn't the SD data list them as WFLADT & WUSFDT? Would that be enough of a mismatch for EMBY to skip them? I also have a HDHR prime that was found and used by EMBY at first, but I disabled mine in EMBY. Not sure if that means anything.
