Deuce911 10 Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 I am running the latest BETA but this issue was in the last release also. When I go to edit a user and then to their Profile and then to Playback Settings, under ADVANCED the MAX Streaming Bitrate setting, every time I change this setting for one user it changes for all users. It does not have the green asterisk buy it so I assume that this setting is unique to each user. I have users that have unlimited download so I want them to stream at a higher quality, and I have others that have Data Caps and I want to limit theirs to a lower rate. Am I missing something? Luke 37082 Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 this is a per-device setting, it's not user specific. there is currently no way to set per user bitrates at server administration level. it's something they need to do in the apps they use. the next version of the server will have an Auto setting that will automatically determine the appropriate bitrate based on their bandwidth. this will be activated by default. i think that will be what your'e looking for.
