Automatic reconnection

Hi,

I am using cell phones connected to audio amps as a means to cast audio from my library to various rooms on my house.

Problem is Emy app sometimes looses connection to server (e.g. server restart).

Is there a means to automatic reconnect the app?

it already does this. it will retry several times and it will do this using both the internal and external urls in case you might have switched networks

My scenario is a couple of smartphones wich should stay allways connected to the server. They are on a remote site and access Emby server through wifi.

On the morning I connect to Emby, play music all day, but on the following day they are disconnected.

Should I attach server logs?

Well, it just happened right now.

I've been playing music all the morning. Several albums and tracks.

Stopped playing and went away to have lunch. Came back an hour and a half later and it is not connected.

Let me picture the full scenario:

Emby is on another site.

On this remote site, there is one Android phone hooked to an amplifier.

On this Android phone (the first) I start Emby app.

On this same remote site there is my notebook and my (second) android phone.

I start the first Android phone app which connects to the remote Emby server.

Then I am able to start Chrome on notebook OR Emby app on the second Android phone.

They are both able to control the first phone on operations such as play, pause, etc.

Then I just close the browser or go away with the second phone.

If I return on a short time there is no problem.

If I take a little longer, Emby server simply do not see the first phone anymore.

If I use the browser or the app, the server does not present the option to play to that first Android phone.

Most curious is that the first phone is still connected on some way: if I come directly to it (Emby app is still open) and request music to be played, it plays.

Right now the first phone is playing (directly chosen music throughout app's user interface BUT I can't see it on the play-to on chrome or the second Android phone.
