thejpster 1 Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I'm running Version 3.0.5724.5 on Ubuntu 12.04. I recently ripped some new DVDs, but I set the directory permissions wrong (750 not 770), so Emby could read the files but not write the downloaded artwork. That's fine, and that was my fault, but the symptoms in the Web UI were that when uploading artwork or selecting "Download" from the image browser dialog the spinner graphic would appear and then never go away. It wasn't until I used Chrome Developer Tools to check the AJAX response that I could see I had a permissions problem. Steps to replicate: Attempting to download or upload artwork for a TV show stored in a directory where Emby does not have write permissions Expected result: The error from the AJAX call should be shown the the user.
