AL_25 2 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Hello, I have some issue when trying to use subtitles in the webplayer. First, the subtitles are surrounded by a black rectangle, is that a normal behaviour ? : Second, if i try to use the seek bar to move to a specific time in the video, the subtitle automatically switch to "Off" and if i re-select the subtitle in the menu, it start to the begining of the subtitles (but the video continue correctly from the time i choosed). Any idea on what's happening ?? thanks !
Luke 40116 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 The display of the subtitles is the browser default display. as for the rest of the issues, please supply the info requested here: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/

Luke 40116 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 how about a different browser? can you give it a test with chrome? thanks.
AL_25 2 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 Works like a charm with chrome (except for some special french characters but it's another issue). Sh*t, sorry for not thinking about testing with another browser before posting ! Thx
Pafzedog 2 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 For those like me that are pretty annoyed with buggy text tracking behavior of Firefox, we can disable it until it works better : type about:config in address bar search for media.webvtt.enabled key and turn it to "false" that's all ! Now Emby is going to burn subtitles directly in our stream and stop losing sync (Need a cache refresh Ctrl + F5 if you are on a movie/tv show page ) 1
Luke 40116 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 You can also check out 42 beta which helps being Firefox out of the stone age a bit 1
