lachie 0 Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 So my fiancee got a Surface 2 the other day and it seems really sweet just using the HTML5 client for browsing movies and tv shows. Really looking forward to the dedicated RT app when that comes out. Today I was investigating the music side of things and its started to get me pretty frustrated. I've had XBox music pass on my lumia for a while now and it is pretty good. Also have a HTPC running Windows 8.1 so yeah we are fairly invested in their ecosystem. Apart from the phone albums not syncing onto the surface correctly the real issue is I cant use my music in a similar way to what MB3 does with videos. I should be able to browse on the surface in xbox music, find an album and play on the htpc. But no. I would probably have to buy an xbox one and get a live gold. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I havent tested the music side of things in MB3 but I sorta assumed that the DRM in the xbox music pass albums would cause too much of a headache for it.
