LTParis 0
I've dipped my feet a couple times into WMC and MB2, and while it was OK, I always thought XBMC was a bit more refined. However I am seeting some very positive things with MB3. I wanted to ask a couple quesitons: I've just invested in a new server rig. ECS Celeron 1037 board/CPU combo 4GB RAM 4TB + 3TB + 1.5TB data drives and Samsung 840 SSD OS drive Lian Li PC-Q25B Case Are these specs good enough for MB3? Does it need mroe horsepower? The original goal of this was to serve as a XBMC front end and file share to other devices. I would want to do the same with MB3. I utilize Sickbeard/CouchPotato/SAB in my XBMC rig. Any integrations with MB3 like notifications? Are there other XBMC > MB3 transitional things to consider?
Luke 37263
as long as you use clients that don't require encoding then that should perform fine. we don't currently have sickbeard, CP or SAB notifications but it's not really needed since we monitor the library in real-time. Still we have a request open with Sickbeard for them to notify us just so that we can say we have Sickebeard notifications
LTParis 0
No right now the clients would be Win7 devices and should play the files natively.
