LG (last models before WebOS) updated profile

After figuring out what my LG 17 LA 6708 can and cannot do, here is what works, and what doesn't, along with the .xml. (I'm talking about direct play, no transcoding)

 

MKV:

 

H264/AVC (tested up to 15 mbps, I think it can go higher)

AC3 and DTS 5.1 (DTS-MA defaults to DTS)

SRT: either external download (but then it only loads the .srt in the language that you have set up in your preferences, no option to change on the fly) or embedded in the container (and then you can set position, sync, size and change tracks !!!!! )

 

This covers I would say 90% of the mainstream releases out there (without going to remux and other things)

 

Feel free to add it to the default profiles!

Also you should add bit depth to the limitations. No device I know of supports 10bit encodings (popular among anime translation groups), so it should be limited to 8 bit.
