sei4eto 0
Hello! Is EmbyTV support m3u from address like http://local-ip/channels/?type=m3u? Or it supports only local m3u playlist? Thanks!
Luke 37099
Try it and let us know. Not many people have come forward to test m3u unfortunately, and i don't have an m3u url for testing.
sei4eto 0
I've tried it, but it didn't load. It says selected tuner is not online or something. But server is online and reachable. And one more issue: when I load local m3u playlist EmbyTV doesn't load sub folders from the playlist , ex movie, sport, science. It loads only the first channels from the group ( and channel is with wrong name. Ex "exinf-1 group movie Sky). Where can I find log file to add it here? Thanks! Luke 37099
For the first one How to report a problem For the second, we just see it as a flat list of channels, not groups. We are probably going to need to see more demand for m3u before we start putting more time into it. We had a six week beta for the new live tv feature and i think only one m3u user came forward to help test.
Fratopolis 62
Dang, is there a way to have the clients access rstp streams or http streams directly without going through the emby server. Just the emby player accessing the stream directly. I am making the switch from kodi in our school district and this would be perfect minus it not accessing streams from our WOWZA streaming server.
