obguy 0
Is there a prerequisite to be able to check the favorite channels only when setting up the tuner? The enable check box can be toggled but the restrict-to-favorites-only check box cannot be enabled. I have opened the web interface to the HDHR (connect version) and marked the ones I want to keep. I tried removing then re-adding the tuner, but no change. I'm running the latest non-beta in a docker on Ubuntu 15.04. Follow-up edit: Well, the channels did get filtered but the check-box still shows unchecked. Weird. Edited September 4, 2015 by obguy

ThePaladinTech 22
So I found this over on the Silicon dust forum: https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=27122&p=154156#p154156 Is this how we have to disable channels now for emby as well?? Luke 37098
You have to use the hdhr interface to mark channels as favorites then enable the favorite filter in emby
ThePaladinTech 22
Here? - won't let me check the box. I have the channels marked as favorites in the HD HomeRun configuration (starred)
mellomade 140
http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/24617-new-embytv-not-honoring-disabled-channels/?p=240797 And read through the rest of the thread too - it states how to get the latest firmware to do this (which is the DVR testing firmware and NOT the default firmware available from SD). Luke 37098
well i don't really know what to say. i've not heard anyone else mention anything like that. you can also try clicking the label as it should toggle the check state. you can also try just doing it and saving, maybe it is getting checked but just not displaying as such. ThePaladinTech 22
Now Running 20150901Latest1 - still cannot click on "restrict" ... Another oddity... check out the photo I posted. I get that when I click on the existing tuner. shouldn't it have 192.168.1.20 there? 1.20 is the correct address for my Prime. and the address listed on the existing tuner I added. Weird. going to try upgrading to the beta of emby see if that changes anything ... Nope not even dev build changed anything. ThePaladinTech 22
I've actually built another machine - windows 7 and Emby, Same problem can't click the restrict icon. It doesn't appear that I need to install the HD HomeRun Drivers as emby sees the tuners. I am wondering if the Prime firmware I am using is causing the problem? I'm in the HD HomeRun DVR kickstarter and have the latest firmware from here: https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=20613&sid=c3cd830f7c1b923e255050aa6f72b1dd I'd be willing to provide access to my Emby Server via teamviewer or Ammyy if it would help?? Luke 37098
no, it will have no impact on your ability to check the box. first i would try clearing your browser cache and force refreshing the page by holding shift-control then press refresh. if there's still a problem one of us can take a look on teamviewer
PhilWhite 64
I have the same problem but since you can disable channels with the HDHR app (the DVR version) it didn't bother me much. When I click on a device the ip address does not show in the window where restrict to favorites is an option as well. Using Edge as browser and clearing the cache, force refreshing didn't help me. I wonder if it is an issue with the latest few firmware updates for HDHR (the ones available through the kickstarter). ThePaladinTech 22
OK I've installed a new VM with nothing but emby and team viewer installed... What do I need to do to provide you access? I've got it under my account, would like to grant you access to that one PC , without me needing to approve it each time.
