ryand 0
I just upgraded emby-server package on my Ubuntu server and was pleasantly surprised to see native HDHR Prime support in Emby. I've been using emby-server with the ServerWMC plugin to talk to my Win7 HTPC, and this supplied my channel list and guide data. Now that emby-server can see the HDHR directly, I like the idea of being able to not rely on my HTPC as a middle man for watching live TV. The problem is that the guide data from ServerWMC and the Prime are now combined, which results in duplicate channels and no guide data for the channel list from the HDHR. Is there a way to keep support for using the HDHR tuners directly without populating the guide with the channel list from the HDHR? Can I merge channels within emby using some kind of custom channel map? I don't really want to disable ServerWMC because it's my source for free guide data. Any suggestions would be appreciated! econ 74
Go to Live TV > Click on your tuner > uncheck "Enable this tuner" Save and refresh your guide.
mjktg99 34
Go to Live TV > Click on your tuner > uncheck "Enable this tuner" Save and refresh your guide. This will disable emby interface with the HDHR, he would have to turn off serverWMC and then refresh the guide.

Thanks for the responses. Ideally I'd like to keep the HDHR enabled but still be able to pull the guide data from ServerWMC. I'm not seeing any options or ways to do that in the UI. Was just wondering if there was something I could do under the hood to make that happen.
Solution Luke 37099 Posted September 3, 2015 Solution Share Posted September 3, 2015 You can't mix and match the core tv features with the plugins. If you want to use server wmc then you have to go all into that and disable the core tv features.

epayson85 72
Ok so how do you disable the core tv features? Because I remove my tuner, refresh everything... and it works for like a day... then the tuner is back and I have to do it all over again. I don't want Emby tv, I want to use server wmc. pr3dict 33
I realize this thread is old but I'm having the same issue. I added HDHR support while my serverwmc box was down and I turned it back on and BANG duplicate of everything. I deleted the HDHR tuner from the emby interface and a few minutes later it is back. Instead of hitting that "delete" icon, click on the whole thing and then disable it. Honestly, I don't know why the delete is there...
