zedox 1
I changed some of my covers using coverart, I can see the new covers on my web browsers or iOS client but on Media Center Classic it's still showing the older covers. I'm using MBClassic v3.0.96.0 B11-19.1 Here is a screenshot of MBC and Firefox My first though is the scan media library task was not running, but it has, i've manually ran it multiple times and restarted the server and my entire computer with no luck. Here's a link to the recent server log (just after the scan media library task had complet) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=984474A6382B24ED!433&authkey=!AJFPjyJgySy5J_c&ithint=file%2c.log
ebr 14913
Looks like the server is doing everything it should. Is that neo on MBC? Try the default theme, although, I'm not sure that will make a difference. If it doesn't, please post a MBC log.
zedox 1
OK, I set the theme back to default... issue still persists. Link for MBClassic log... This is the latest log file. Let me know if you need older copies! https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=984474A6382B24ED!434&authkey=!AKMmIEDaZrNFJos&ithint=file%2c.log Thanks! ebr 14913
What, exactly, did you change in the CoverArt configuration?
zedox 1
Hi ebr, I'm not using CovertArt on my movie covers (only have CoverArt configured for Boxsets) I'm using StarkCovers to style my Movie folder images. So here's what I did.. I configured the StarkCovers to create an "3d3/mp4" style cover. I didn't like it, so I re-created the cover with "3d3/bd" Media Browser Classic is still showing the mp4 cover. But iOS and the web browser shows the bd cover.
Solution ebr 14913 Posted December 2, 2013 Solution Share Posted December 2, 2013 Aha. I seem to remember that Stark doesn't always change the modified date of the image file...
zedox 1
Yep! Just checked, it looks like StarkCovers takes the created and modified date stamp from the original .jpg I use MCM to control my media, and a post-processing that runs stark covers via a batch script... I'll add some batch code to my script to modify the dates.
ebr 14913
If you get it worked out and this was the problem, please mark my answer. Thanks.
zedox 1
Thanks ebr, You were spot on. After I changed the modified date, Media Browser Classic picked up the new folder art. For those reading this with the same issue after using StarkCovers... Use the Command line command... COPY /B <SOURCE>+,, This copies the file over the original source with today's time-stamp. E.G. COPY D:\Movies\The Dark Knight\folder.png+,, Edited December 2, 2013 by zedox
