Angelblue05 4130
I've just tried it out on my windows and firetv stick and it works just fine. Are you sure it's not a share issue? Maybe the folder that contains those specific movies is just not accessible by Kodi because the path is not accessible? As I said, I've added the exact title to my library, with the special characters, they got added with direct paths and it played the movie (avi), but the container really it shouldn't matter... marcomarco 0
@Serjudo: I think this is NFS problem with special characters and how theses charaters are saved on the Synology NAS. How do you transfer your files to the NAS? Do you use the Windows Explorer? If could confirm this, your problem may caused by unproper UTF-8 handling done by Windows. A short test could confirm this, by transfering a new file having special charaters in his name with Filezilla via FTP to the NAS. Please make sure, that UTF-8 encoding is enabled for this test on the FTP-Server configuration site of your NAS. https://www.synology.com/en-global/knowledgebase/tutorials/609 If this new file is working then you could use the following workaround provided by Synology to copy your files again with the Windows Explorer: https://www.synology.com/en-us/knowledgebase/faq/422.
