jluce50 118
I'm not quite sure what's going on here. I tried to play back a movie and it gives me the message that it can't direct play and asks if I want to switch to HTTP. I'm not sure why as SMB works fine for other files. When I allow HTTP it appears to be trying to play trailers and a pre-roll video. A few times it gave me a Playback Failed error. Then one time it actually did play the trailers and pre-roll video. Two weird things about this. 1) I have Cinema Mode disabled on the server. 2) I didn't think Emby for Kodi supported Cinema Mode. Kodi: 15.0 rc2 Emby: 1.0.35 Debug log attached. kodi.log Edited August 26, 2015 by jluce50
jluce50 118
Actually, I think the HTTP prompt is for the trailers, not the movie itself. I only get this prompt if I attempt to play an unwatched movie. If I resume an in progress movie it plays straight away like it should.
Angelblue05 4130
Is the folder containing your cinema intros properly shared as a network path? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jluce50 118
No, it's not. That may be part of the problem. But does the Emby addon support Cinema Mode? I didn't think it did...
